Costa Rica

Welcome Letter from Chad

On behalf of the entire Knack team, I want to thank you for taking the first step toward living a One Bag Life.

At Knack, we believe the ease of a One Bag Life is the key to getting out and exploring new places and meeting new people.

My own path to a One Bag Life began three years ago during what should have been a fun weekend trip to Costa Rica. On every leg of the trip, I found myself struggling with my duffle filled with clothes, my backpack filled with work stuff, my phone and an ever-present cup of coffee.

At first, I thought I needed more hands. Then I realized what I really needed was a better way to carry everything.

When I got home, I began to understand that I wasn’t the only person dealing with a two bag life. I saw lots of people struggling with a work bag and a travel bag at airports, train stations and subway stops. Walking around the city, it seemed like everyone was juggling a work bag and a second bag for the gym. Just like me in Costa Rica, it looked as if all of these other two-baggers were really weighed down by their loads.

After looking for a bag to help solve my problem, and realizing one didn’t exist, I got together with a group of friends from Tumi, North Face, Coach and eBags to create Knack. We’ve spent over two years designing, prototyping and testing our patent-pending One Bag products, and we’re really pleased to share them with you.

Thanks for checking us out and I hope to share a One Bag Life with you soon.

looks like a great bag – wonderful concept as I find myself using two/three bags a day!

Love the bag. Best of luck on the new venture, which I am sure will be a success.
