Very happy with the bag!!! I've stress tested it on flights, it holds up perfectly. The most unexpected aspect is that for the first time ever in a backpack, I really know exactly where everything is stored and everything is easily accessible, even in the dark and when packed to the brim ... if you have a 16 inch macbook and are leaning between the large and medium knack pack, know that the large will be somewhat more comfortable ... The important thing to know is if you have the 16 inch Macbook, you will be fine ordering the medium knack pack if that is your preferred size.

Put this bad boy to the test three days after I got it. Rain while training and documenting Marines at Quantico, this bag took it all like a champ. Travels well too. It fit my 16 inch and 14 inch MacBooks (both with rugged cases), my boxed Magic Keyboard, my Magic Mouse, my Canon Camera, a 28mm lens with case, my flash, my Joby mini tripod, 2 sets of news crew lav mics, a rode mic, and a toiletries bag. Anddddddd it wasnt even remotely full! I only filled up the front pockets and not the clam shell portion. The water bottle pocket was nice and fit my 18 oz. Brita waterbottle.

If you're a techie person or utilize hot offices/desks at work and need to transport your tech daily this is a great bag. There is a padded area that could hold up to a 12.9 tablet with full coverage. If you don't have a 17 in computer you could store a laptop and a tablet in the laptop compartment (I'd probably throw the tablet in a sleeve just for extra protection but a 13 in MacBook Air and 12.9 iPad Pro both fit in the laptop compartment without a problem). There are lots of smaller compartments inside the bag so you can separate your wires/snacks/pens etc. I was using primarily tech organizer bags previously but at some point why do you need to buy a bag to put in your bag lol?

I thought about this purchase for quite a while. I have now had it for a little over a month and had the chance to go on a work trip with it. I chose this pack because of its more professional look but with the versatility of having room for travel. The expandable feature is amazing and lives up to my expectations ... I have a large and thick 15.6 laptop and have had issues finding packs of this size that would fit my computer and I am happy to report that this one does
