What combination of packing cubes fits the suitcase section of my Knack Pack?
For Large Knack Packs, you can choose either 1 Large Cube and 2 Medium cubes, or 4 Medium cubes. For Medium Knack Packs, you can choose either 2 Large cubes or 3 Medium cubes. For Small Knack Packs, a Medium and Large Cube work nicely.
How do packing Cubes work best in saving space while packing?
Our compressible Packing Cubes save you the most space when packed with high loft items. High loft items are anything from puffy socks (think hiking, thick running socks, etc), to wool sweaters and fleeces. These items ,when packed in our cubes and compressed by the additional zipper on the cube, get all the air squished out of them (yes squish is a technical term 😊). So you are left packing your socks and not the air that puffs them up.
Are packing cubes machine washable?
Yes. When machine washing Packing Cubes, please close all zippers and we recommend a cold wash with line drying.
Are Cubes customizable?
Knack’s Large Packing cubes and Packing inserts are both able to be embroidered.
Are Shoe Bags worth it if the shoes I’m packing can’t be compressed?
Yes! When you pack your shoes with your clothes, remember you are packing items that have walked/ran over anything from city streets, to farmland, to subway cars, etc. So whatever came home on your shoes will now be on your clothes and Knack Pack.
Are Shoe Bags worth it for tennis/running shoes?
These shoes are what Shoe Bags were made for. The items that take up the most space when packing are shoes. Being able to pack and compress, makes it an easy decision to pack your favorite running shoes.
What is the best packing method for Shoe Bags?
First shoe should go in heel first, second shoe toe first. Then adjust placement in bag so compression straps are around the widest part of the shoes. Cinch compression straps, and pull drawstring closed.
Are Shoe Bags waterproof?
No. Knack Shoe Bags are not waterproof. You want the fabric to breathe, so damp, sweaty shoes don’t stay damp, sweaty shoes.
Are Shoe Bags machine washable?
They sure are. Pull compression straps a little tighter, so other items in your laundry don’t get stuck in the loops. We recommend a cold wash and line dry.
