Great Bag for international travel

I just completed a three-month trip to Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. The bag traveled really well and was easy to pack and organize. It went on 12 flights and in and out of many cars, taxis, buses, and ferries. It was really durable; yet it still looks new. The only problem I had with it was that when it was full, it was hard to close the middle section zipper near the top ( see photo below). And I sometimes had difficulty getting it on and off my carry-on bag handle.

Be compatible

Sometimes, your trips require a big piece of wheeled luggage. Don’t worry, it’s easy to bring your Knack Pack along too. Our hidden trolley sleeve lets you slip your Knack over the handle of almost all sizes of wheeled luggage.

Stay flexible

Our adjustable sternum strap does a great job of distributing weight when you’ve really packed your Knack. But if you prefer a cleaner look, the strap unhooks for easy removal.

Lighten your load

We understand, sometimes you over-pack. That’s why we added loops so you can easily add a waist strap to help distribute the weight from your shoulders to your hips. (Waist strap sold separately).

Be prepared

It should never happen, but if that flight attendant makes you check your backpack, don’t worry about your straps getting caught on the luggage carousel. Simply unclip your straps and stow them out of the way in the back panel pocket.

Use the Knack Pack’s padded side computer pocket to always keep your laptop with you. The pocket fits 17” laptops (measured diagonally) and its suspended bottom helps keep your computer safely off the floor whenever you put your bag down.

The easy access charger and battery pocket helps keep all those cords, chargers, adapters, batteries and USB sticks that you can’t live without in one neat place instead of rolling around in the bottom of your bag.

I don't normally write reviews. But I want to give props to Knack for designing an extremely durable and functional bag. I travel extensively for work, and for fun, often with a small roller suitcase for shorter trips. This bag has been amazing! It may be expensive but it's worth every penny. I've had my series 1 medium for almost 5 years now. Extremely well designed and plane friendly. I've tried all the big expensive ones (I'm looking at you Briggs and Riley). After 30 years of extensive business travel I've never had a better carry on bag and daily worker. Unfortunately for you, you built this bag so well that I don't need to buy a new one!

Great backpack

This is a great backpack. I’ve used mine for years now for business travel. And it is by far the best backpack I’ve ever had. It’s well-made, intelligently designed and highly functional. I do not work with or have any affiliation with the company. But I can tell you this is a great backpack. The ability to put a few pieces of clothing in there along with a computer, all the charging cords, etc. and a bunch of files, means that I can use a small roller carry-on as my second bag. So no checked bags for even week long work trips. I’d be surprised if anyone did not love this backpack.

Worth It!

I got this to carry around during a business trip/trade show. I had it delivered to my hotel and I spent the evening exploring the backpack. I absolutely cannot believe how much you're able to do with this backpack. I even made a couple gasps when I discovered yet another pocket or another cool thing, especially when I found the zipper to expand its size. Super functional, and can fit so much in it when needed, but can be made more compact when traveling. I would say that it is worth the investment, for sure.

Great purchase

This was a great purchase. I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase this bag. It’s great for every day use and even better for traveling. I love that I am able to expand the bag to fit even more stuff in it. Traveling with this and my carryon suite case makes it less stressful when traveling for a long weekend.

Appears to fit my needs like a glove with only a couple small nit picky items I don't care for

I travel a lot for work. Generally its either a one day trip or a 3-4 dayer. I used to have separate back packs for each of these, and would inevitably not transfer something that I needed from the unused pack to the used pack. This eliminates that issue. I have taken the pack on a 10 day personal trip and it did great. Only slight things I could see improving would be: More comfortable straps. They seem like if you were wearing this on a hike all day they would get bothersome. I dont do that, so no bigs. A place for pens. Yes, I still use those. And a loop where the top strap and bottom strap join to hang a carabiner. I clip off a good-sized water bottle to my strap, and there is no place to do that. I just used a soft shackle to make my own, so again no bigs. For my needs, this is a great pack.
