I have always been picky about my backpacks, as I have needed a spectrum of multi-day backpacking packs to small bags. I use my new Knack Pack for the daily grad school grind and occasional weekend travel. I needed a bag that could hold multiple pairs of clothes, laptop and/or tablet, my lunch (which, admittedly, some sizes of Tupperware don’t comfortably fit in the Knack Pack), and a bunch of odds and ends of various sizes, such as chargers and measuring devices for school. I walk to/from campus everyday, the straps are very comfortable, even when I (rarely) have to bring home textbooks. This bag is a dream to travel with- it is seriously awesome to have such a streamline, efficient, and well throughout bag with me. I also have to comment on how well made the Knack Pack is, the zippers are study, the material seems robust, and there are no plastic parts! I think I will be able to use my Knack Pack for many years, and will be able to adapt the bag to my needs as they change over time.
Note: if you frequent need to carry heavy, oddly shaped, or bulky objects then other backpacks would be a better fit.
